Upon discovering that her husband of such a short time and lover of so much longer had killed her parents and caused her so much childhood trauma, Merida Spirit, nee Rommel, left her friends and family behind and disappeared into the mountains. She discovered, to her rage, that she was pregnant with the murdering bastard’s second child, a boy she named Tokyo after a city she had always wanted to see.

As time went on, her rage and hate grew and grew and grew, feeding upon itself, finally turning her into a twisted image of the girl she once was. Unfortunately, her hatred didn’t just include her husband and daughter Kyoto, who lived with Peace. It included her older brother, Mexico, who she considered a traitor for never telling her about what Peace had done to their family. More than anything, though, she hated Fainche, Mexico’s wife, for she became convinced that Fainche had convinced Mexico to stay silent. The only one she hated more than Fainche was Peace.

Every night, she sang to young Tokyo, always the same song, detailing her vengeance and rage and hatred towards those who had wronged her, and soon enough she had turned Tokyo into a creature as dark and twisted as she herself had become. Her voice rang out over the silent mountains, sending the various beings who heard it running for cover from the sheer malice behind it.

Finally, Tokyo was old enough and ready to be the avatar of his mother’s vengeance upon the people she had once loved. And he set after them with a single-minded intensity not often seen in this world.

He was determined to make Peace, Kyoto, Mexico, and Fainche suffer for their crimes against his mother, even if it took his own life to do so.

Hmm-mm...this isn’t in the actual story that me and ~AlexMcCat have going on, but it’s an interesting little AU. Also, disregard any incestuous stuff for the pic; I can’t change the song lyrics XD I’m firmly of the opinion that incest is very wrong, and should NEVER be performed. Fans of incest pairings have especially earned my contempt. However, the song is awesome, and you should go download it and listen to it now.

By the way, the little girl behind Merida is what she USED to be...like, she's secretly mourning her new self and wishes she could go back to the way she was...or something...

Anyway, just some snippets of Merida singing to Tokyo to become her “avatar of vengeance”. Heh.

I was in a groomy mood but when I saw this picture, my heart lifted despite the twisted, hated, and sorrow storyline that went with this. It really made me happy, I love the AU storyline to the "Vampium" storyline. It will probably get me to write out the storyline based off of this. It's really tempting, the story is unique and interesting. You always have great ideas, Saya. And oddly enough, AU Merida reacting that Peace killed her parents is more realistic then what I had planned in "Vampium".

AU Toyko is the complete opposite then the canon Toyko, he's all badass and cold, strangely like his father even though he hate him for all he did to his mother. You know how AWESOME it will be if Peace and Toyko duke it out? It's going to be so epic beyond belief.

I'm surprise Merida turned against Mexico, her own brother, hating him for hiding the dark secret. Even though Mexico hide it from her to protect her innocence. More surprisingly, she hated Fainche for keeping Mexico silent about the secret, despite the fact she has NO idea about what happened. Or... does she?

Thank you for using this song! I've been trying to think what the artist and song is, but my brain went dead on me. Now I know the song is, I'm going to go listen to it right now, I'll wind up thinking about this picture and the whole idea.

Seriously, one of us should right this story, though you're the one who thought of this brilliant plot and is way better at writing then me. I'll probably screw up the whole storyline because I'm probably going towards canon then AU.

I love this picture, love it, love it, love it! I couldn't wait to view this and the description of the picture when I saw the thumbnail. The title was familiar to me and I realize it was the song I listen to months ago and enjoyed it, but forgot all about it due to memory loss. Sad, sad. But, the song made the picture even more awesome and worth loving.

Merida's dress is so lovely, I swear I need to draw her in that sometime. It looks so fun to draw, seriously. I'm no lesbian, but Merida looks sexy. Haha. But, really, she looks very beautiful, despite being hurted and in so much sorrow and hatred towards those she use to love.

Tokyo is, without a doubt, is hot as hell! He looks so much cooler then my plan design of Toyko :<. You make canon Toyko look wimpy! Oh, wait, he IS wimpy. Haha. But, anyways, I seriously love AU Toyko, I just want to steal him and hide him in my closet, he's so hot. I love AU Toyko <3. But I love canon Toyko too, just AU Toyko is such a badass and so much cooler.

I could look at this artwork and read the story for the longest time, it's just so amazing. More then amazing in fact. I can't really describe it to be honest, I ran out of words. But, it is truly amazing and simply the best thing ever. I'm going to save this, if you don't mind, I really do love this.


Saya, you're the best, you need to do more of these Vampium AU, I love it, despite how twisted and sorrow it might be.

Wow! this is really cool! i never listen to that song before, but now i want to. i shall go find it on Youtube! lol!

But this is great. Merida looks beautiful in that dress. i will be a lesbian with Alex and say she does look sexy! *smack'd* but, i really like her pose in the bottom picture, with the Merida she used to be behind her. and Tokyo is Hot!! i love the look on his face and his desgin, and just about all of him XD

But this story looks so interesting! you should think about writing about it, i'd like to read it!

But Vampium's your story! I was amazed when I read it...the canon Vampium thing was just awesome! I loved everything about it, especially the relationship between Peace and Merida, and the tension between Peace and Mexico xD Much cooler than my original story of how Mex came to be a cyborg, I gotta say...lol, roboticized? Gimme a break, the whole psycho Peace thing was so much more awesome (and not as lame)!

You like how he looks? I thought he looked kinda weird, especially with that giant ax thingy...lol, good to know you like him though! :D And yeah, I wanted to give Merida a simple yet...elegant look. I thought it would fit in with her AU!personality XD

Haha, bisexual for his love of cooking... I hope he doesn't make out with a sushi roll <_<.

I needed a reason why Peace and Merida has a love-hate relationship. Also, I wanted Mexico to have his robotic arm and eye, that's what make Mexico, Mexico. Like how being a total asshole makes Peace, Peace. So, I randomly come up with the idea Peace went ' physco'(amazing how he stays calm through the killingspree) and cut off Mexico's arm and stab his eye out, then kill his parents and caused Merida to go into shock.

To be honest, I was afraid you wouldn't like "Vampium", since you didn't like vampires. And Peace is a vampium, cousin and evolvation to the vampires, and Heiwa is a [drunken] vampire. Then there's the fact I worried that I got your characters wrong since I had no biographies of them.

I'm so relief that you like "Vampium", it really makes it easier for me to contiune writing to the series. I hope my effort pays off, I really want the series to become an anime series.

Wouldn't it be so awesome to see your characters are TV? I'm going to love the Peace and Mexico moments. I swear, they're the best rivals, they really do make the "Vampium" series fun and they don't realize it.

Basically Peace is the driving force for the way Mexico and Merida are...one little incident can change a life, I guess...still, I do like your version better - much more believable and less lame XD Plus, it takes the relationships between Peace and Mexico and Merida to a whole new level! And Sinko and Luna being Peace's foster parents was way awesome too - I was so happy to see them again, it'd been too long!

LOL, I don't like vampires because they're so overdone in today's culture...and all the goth kids at my school were OBSESSED with vampires... "I'm a vamp and I like to drink blood!" D: I was like, SHUT UP YOU'RE NOT A VAMPIRE YOU'RE A HUMAN YOU FAIL GO HOME XD But I like Peace's Vampium condition! He doesn't act like the stereotypical vampire, which I liked. Plus, the fact that Heiwa's a drunk vampire is awesomely hilarious! XD

I tried reading Twilight, but had to stop because it was just such a typical vampire book, with the sexy vampire making the main character fall INSTANTLY in love and/or be totally interested in him right away, and the emo I CAN'T BE WITH YOU BECAUSE I'M NOT HUMAN and the werewolf bashing...ugh. As heinous as it may sound, I was sort of hoping Jacob would kick Edward's ass in whichever book that I tried to read...

OMG, Vampium would be a KICKASS anime! If it ever gets to be one, I will totally be its number one fan :D And the Peace and Mexico moments will define anime history XD

I wanted a tragic moment to happen. I wanted Merida and Mexico hated Peace, then love him after they care given them. Well, to Merida anyways. Peace will be torturing poor Mexico, like throwing a toaster in the bathtub while Mexico was taking a bath. He's so cruel, but everyone loves him. Even Mexico, know he's bisexual for him.

I enjoyed writing Sinko and Luna in the story, I miss them. I found it funny while they're asleep, Peace is off killing bad guys. They have NO clue what their son do at night. They really do think he's innocent as an angel.

I'll admit, I have the three books to the series, Twilight. But, I didn't really have any favorite characters, except Alice, she was the only one with a personality. After rereading "New Moon" again, out of boredom and lack of books, I started to feel bad for Jacob. He was Bella's best friend since childhood and poor guy is left in the dust while Bella drools all over Edward.

I don't see vampires to be sexy and sparkly, I see them as bloodlusting creatures of the night. That's what got me into vampires. Why Stephanie Meyer?! Why must you ruin my precious bloodsucking creatures?! At least after reading "Cirque Du Freak" made me feel better. At least the vampires in that series isn't beautiful, they're ugly as hell in fact. They don't live in a fancy mansion, but inside a mountain drinking blood, beer, or water. Along with eating bat soup. Doesn't that taste yummy?

If all goes successful, "Vampium" shall become an anime! I promise I'll send you the series to watch first, along with free artwork, to enjoy. Because in all honesty, without your wonderful characters, I wouldn't be able to think of "Vampium".

That was one of my favorite things about Mexico's personality, needing to be with another boy sometimes XD It's just so much fun to play with, and I'm allergic to shounen-ai! XDDD But he really does love Fainche, and I'm sure the only thing keeping Merida from kicking his ass when he does his little gay thing is the fact that he's so much taller than she is XD

LOL, Sinko and Luna...so naive when it comes to their precious little boy XD They think the world of him, which is good, because everyone needs some love at some point (and not just the romantic kind)! I'm glad they give him the parental love he needs, 'specially after what his own parents did to him...

I think I'm going to have to check this Cirque du Freak out now. That sounds like the REAL vampires! Reason I liked that Van Helsing movie was because it showed them how they really are: slimy, vile little shits! The vampires in there were hideous in their true forms, not ALWAYS beautiful, and even their "beautiful" forms had a sort of evil-ness to them. Bat soup, eh? Sounds weird...dunno if I'd ever try it, LOL

When I'm done with the sketches, I think I might have to do a sort of advertisement picture-thing for Vampium. And WOO, free artwork! :D And hey, you came up with Peace, who IS the main character and basic driving force behind the series! XD
